If you will not be home for the cleaning, please call to provide the information required to obtain access. You can provide us the keys, the access code, or tell the doorman to give us access.

We try very hard to have the same personnel to your home every time. Per your request we will send the same crew if you offer us arrival flexibility. Occasionally, due to illness or the like, an alternate team or maid will have to be substituted.

We understand that life does not always go as planned.  However, if it is necessary to cancel/postpone any scheduled cleaning, we ask that you please call the Sweep Home Chicago office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled cleaning.  That will allow us ample time to make the necessary adjustments to our daily cleaning schedule.  If we do not receive 24 hours notice, a $40 fee will be assessed to the customers credit card, which will be required to book a cleaning appointment.

Please call us. We will gladly listen to your complaints/concerns. We will do everything we can to fix the problem.

In fact, we are so confident in our house and commercial cleaning services that we guarantee them. Should an area of your home or office not be cleaned to satisfaction we will re-clean whatever it is that you aren’t happy with within 48-hours after you contact us to do the re-clean for free.

We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, Sweep Home Chicago will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item. When appropriate, insurance claims will be filed. We are fully bonded and insured so that should the unfortunate happen we have it taken care of.

In order to give you the greatest house and commercial cleaning value, we ask you to take a few minutes the night before to pick up extraneous clothing, important documents, toys and other personal household items.

We will try our best to fulfill your request of same day cleaning services, but 24 hours ahead of time is ideal.

Most of our employees are fine with having pets around for the cleanings. There are a few employees that we have that are allergic to pets and they would obviously be sent. Bottom line is that we have plenty of options and can always find people to go who are fine with pets.

A tip is not required, but is definitely appreciated. I would say about 50% of Sweep Home Chicago’s customers tip. Our employees make a regular wage, so they do not depend on tips. If you do not tip they will not be upset. If you do decide to tip 10-20% is a good tip.

Yes, we are. We also do full background and reference checks on all of our employees to make sure we have good, trustworthy employees in your home.

Basic house cleaning is a all around good surface cleaning concentrating on kitchens, bathrooms, floors and dusting. There is a set list of tasks that are done and is more than likely going to be set up as a flat rate. On deep house cleaning we can do whatever the customer wants that is cleaning related. This cleaning will be set up for an hourly rate. Most of the time customers will set up to have all of the basic cleaning items + certain specifics that they want concentrated on.

Standard cleanings are a flat rate based on the size of your home. They typically run $120–$150 for a studio or 1-bedroom, $160–$210 for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath home, and $210–$260 for a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home. Yes. Our teams can bring all the cleaning supplies and equipment, including the vacuum, or use yours if you prefer. Using your supplies lowers the price slightly.

A standard cleaning of a 2-bedroom home takes about 3 to 3.5 hours. Your first cleaning may take about 30 minutes longer.

Most of our customers choose every two weeks or monthly. We also offer weekly, twice-a-month, and one-time cleanings, and weekly service has the best rate per visit.

Yes. You can add inside-the-fridge cleaning, inside-the-oven cleaning, interior windows, or laundry. Add-ons typically cost $25–$55 each.

Yes. We provide certificates of insurance for any customer or building that requires one. Many downtown high-rises ask for one before cleaners can come in, so just let us know when you book.
